2. How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966) -You've got garlic in your soul if you haven't seen this Dr. Seuss animated feature. A nasty green Grinch comes down from his mountain and attempts to steal Christmas from the poor little Whos of Whoville. See this original and beware that whole Jim Carrey remake.
3. Miracle on 34th Street (1947) - Macy's lucks out when Kris Kringle comes to work for them and sets the whole city of New York on it's toes. Do yourself a favor and see this original and skip the version with the little girl from Matilda.
4. Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) - Watch this movie if only for the burnt car and bathroom scene (it's not what you think). John Candy and Steve Martin shine in this film about trying to get home for Thanksgiving.
5. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (1964) - This film filled with clay-mation creatures will warm your heart, especially Hermie, the elf who wants to be a dentist and the Island of Misfit Toys.
6. White Christmas (1954) - Who hasn't heard Bing Crosby crooning his little alcoholic heart out to, "White Christmas" while shopping at some department store? Well, in any case, this lovely music filled film is the originator of that and many other classic holiday songs.
7. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) - Yet another film whose score has become fodder for department store holiday music massacre. This classic animated feature chronicles the adventures of the Peanuts gang as they prepare for Christmas.
8. Elf (2003) - This funny and sweet film follows the adventures of Buddy (played by Will Farrell) a human raised by elves in the North Pole who comes to New York City to find his father.
9. Santa Claus is Coming to Town (1970) - Yes Herr Burgermeister Meisterburger! Kris is an orphan raised by the Kringle family of toymakers in this clay-mation feature who brings toys to the toyless children of Sombertown for Christmas.
10. Frosty the Snowman (1969) - This made the list solely for Frosty's popularity. A snowman comes to life one day….and well once again if you have gone shopping anytime from October to January then you know the rest.
