Electricity Woes

Electricity should be something that is semi-reliable. A lot of things rely on electricity, such as refrigerators, microwaves, lights, phones, and computers. Electricity is something that life requires ever since the 1600s. Everyone uses electricity, no matter how environmentally friendly you may be. But not me.
My dorm room has constant problems with the electricity. At random times, the outlets decide not to work. There is a popping noise and two of the outlets stop pumping out the juice. This has happened numerous times and every time a work order is put in and the schools one electrician comes by and resets the breaker but in a day or two the same thing happens and the process starts again. You don't need to be an electrician to realize that resetting the breaker isn't a long-term fix, but when the school only has one full time electrician there isn't much time to search for the answer to the electrical nightmare that is my room.
This wouldn't have bothered me if it had happened one time but when it happens once every two weeks or so it starts to get annoying. When you think about how much we spend on housing ($2,216.00 a semester) things like this should not happen or the school should do something to make sure that it never happens again.
Now I have talked to my residence director, my parents have talked to residence life and each time I am told the same thing. Go file a work order. Obviously I have already done this, several times and it is not working.
