Everybody loves cupcakes-not to eat, but to wear. Not up with the newest fad yet? For those already covered in cupcake apparel and those who had no clue as what this was about, the Horace Mann Auditorium was the place to be Monday, November 16th.

On Tuesday, November 3rd popular vote decreed that same-sex couples should not be allowed to marry in the state of Maine. Maine has now joined thirty other states across the country which has voted to define marriage as a union between one male and one female, and is the only New England state which has done so.

Many Americans fall into this monotonous cycle that takes them away from family, friends, and fun. It often seems like there is no way around it. But when he was only 19 years old, Johnny Cupcakes found a way not only to pull himself out of this cycle but to take his friends and family with him.

They train year in and year out to become some of the U.S. Army's best soldiers and leaders in the world and after graduation they join the active Army, National Guard, or Army Reserve.

At the past SGA meeting, Margarida Vieira, Gary Boothby, and Jack Murphy spoke to the SGA. Vieira and Boothby spoke on food services and Murphy spoke on the bookstore. According to Murphy, the bookstore is currently looking for book orders from faculty for the next semester, which would enable students to sell books back for 50 percent of the sale price.

This phrase, a banner across the top of the National Novel Writing Month website, embodies the enthusiastic spirit of what NaNoWrimo is all about. It is essentially turning novel writing into an enjoyable sport and being a cheerleader for it. Founder Chris Baty has wrestled the daunting process of novel writing down to the ground, and having knocked any fearful qualities it once possessed away, has made it an enjoyable, brilliantly self-deprecating, and most importantly, doable experience for any and everyone who shows interest.
