Every year, publishers always are in pursuit of the blockbuster videogame that everyone will want to buy. Unfortunately, only a few live up to the demand. This year is no exception. With games from all platforms coming out, it must be hard to get the gamer on your list their favorite game.

-Siberian Orchestra, released their fifth album tuesday, October 27th. The twenty-six song album, entitled "Night Castle," showcases the sixty plus piece orchestra's ability to take classical masterpieces and relive them as symphonic rock, rock operas, and heavy metal pieces with narratives.

Cabaret, arguably the greatest musical in the history of theatre has been in its longevity, manipulated hundreds of times. Yet, fresh interpretations continue to swirl fervently about contemporary America. Bridgewater State College's recent take on the pre-World War II love and dance routine renders nothing short of a brilliant evening spent amongst the dark isles.

Derek Trucks Band
Butch Trucks, the drummer for The Allman Brothers Band, has a nephew that is the only apparent heir to slide virtuoso Duane Allman: Derek Trucks. He mostly plays slide guitar, something seldom heard. His childhood was spent among the Allman Brothers Band, and it shows; he is definitely influenced by their blues, but Trucks also has a background in jazz.
