In its October 25, 2007 issue, The Comment had an article entitled "Campus blood drive seeks donations, but gays are banned." In the article, it was said how a campus blood drive did not allow people who identified as being gay to donate blood. Several of the people interviewed in the article thought that the policy was discriminatory against gay people and that it was wrong.

o pay for their own healthcare? No. I've had to learn this the hard way. My parents are on Mass Health, and so was I until I turned twenty. If a family is on Mass Health, which is for low-income families, then after age nineteen they are no longer eligible.

With the current battle over healthcare in Washington, many Americans believe they are fighting for some lofty ideal. Those in favor of the state medical coverage believe they are fighting corporate corruption that is jacking up skyrocketing costs, drawing upon the inherent righteousness of the United States government.

Ever since I first came to BSC in the fall of 2005, I have noticed a trend in clothing style on campus…or lack thereof. It seems more often than not students find it perfectly acceptable to shuffle from class to class wearing pajamas.
I can't help but cringe when I pass a girl with her hair thrown up into a haphazard bun, an oversized t-shirt or hoodie, gigantic sweatpants, and dirty flip flops.
