Swagger.
It's the buzz word these days, the thing the kids are all talking about.
For those of you who have been living in a cave since the semester started, Merriam-Webster defines swagger as "arrogant or conceitedly self-assured behavior" or "ostentatious display or bravado.

For the past three semesters, I have enjoyed some great experiences and moments that have occurred through intramural sports, but sadly this year it seems as if the program has fallen apart. Intramurals are all about rivalries and having fun, but can anyone say they have enjoyed their soccer, basketball or even softball games this fall? Not to mention, football?
At the beginning of the current semester, director of intramurals, David Begley, created a Wheaton webpage on a college intramural website called IMleagues.

It has been seven years since Shea Ralph played a game at UConn.
In that time, there have been Final Fours and National Championship runs, tears of joy and tears of heartbreak.
Ralph has shed her share of tears - she won a national championship as part of the 2000 team, and she ended her career on the ground with a knee injury in the 2001 Big East tournament.

On the surface, Scottie Haralson is a 3-point specialist in every sense of the term.
Following every three-hour practice (where Haralson knocks down 46 percent of his long-range attempts according to coach Jim Calhoun), he stays in Gampel Pavilion shooting 3s until he gets kicked out.

Role reversal.
Around this time last year, the Eagles were ranked second in the nation when Florida State rolled into town. Then they completely collapsed, losing at home to the Seminoles, 27-17. Boston College's BCS title hopes ended, and its ACC championship dreams flat lined.

While the UNH men's hockey record has seen better days going into the last part of the semester, both head coach Dick Umile and players alike are not too discouraged after winning only one out of their last six games this season. Experience and youth are two themes that will be associated with the Suffolk's 2008-

With several returning players and a collection of talented newcomers, the Men's Basketball team will open its season Nov.
